There are three main systems that both students and employees of Mitchell Community College will need to access during their journey here at the college.   Below will provide a quick how to access these systems.  While the My Mitchell portal will provide a single place to link from to these sites, below will also provide a direct URL links for these sites.  If you are not familiar yet with the My Mitchell portal it can be found at main college webpage in the upper right corner. 


 

From here you will have access to many different resources.  We will focus on Self-Service, Open LMS, and Office 365 Email in this document.


How do I login to Self-Service? 

Direct URL: https://ss-prod-cloud.mitchellcc.edu/Student/

Students: The User ID will be your MCC student email account. 

Once you enter your email account, you will see the following landing page asking for you password.

When you successfully authenticated, you will be redirected to your Self-Service landing page. 



How do I login to Office365 Email? 

Direct URL: https://portal.office.com

Students: The User ID will be your MCC student email account. 

Once you enter your email account, you will see the following landing page asking for you password.


When you successfully authenticated, you will see the below Office 365 page. 

Outlined in red is the Office 365 portal navigation panel. It provides access to Web Apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote. 

Selecting the  icon in the left navigation panel will launch Outlook WebApp, your student email account.


Faculty & Staff: The User ID will be assigned to you by the IT department and communicated to you via your supervisor.  

How do I login to Open LMS?

There are two methods to logging into Open LMS depending on if you are a Continuing Education student or Curriculum Student/Faculty/Staff. Below are the details to which method to use when logging in to Open LMS.

For Curriculum Students:

Click on the Microsoft Office 365
 Link below the Log in button

Username = Office 365 email address
(Ex. username@students.mitchellcc.edu)
 Password = Office 365 email password

 For Continuing Education Students:

 Contact your instructor for the
 course you are enrolled in to obtain your username and password

You will type your username and
 password in the text boxes above the Log in button

Username for Faculty and Staff:

Click on the Microsoft Office 365
 Link below the Log in button

Username = Office 365 email address
(Ex. username@mitchellcc.edu)
 Password = Office 365 email password


How do I Change my Passwords? 

For Students: We have a password services site for students that is located under “Password Services” link from the My Mitchell portal.
